Hoo hoo is that

It's a Barred owl, found him while walking the dog today.Needless to say , the dogs walk got cut short so I could go home get my camera and go back. The dog wasn't very happy.

Thanks Mat, I got excited when I saw him, that's the first owl I've seen in 26 years of living on the island. If you look close at pic 2, he's having snake for lunch.

Around here, owls are believed to only hunt during the night. But I leave on another planet. ;)
