    Default Mug Shots

Ive been waiting a few days to post these since I was in the middle of getting this post together, when I noticed the title of Michaelaw's heron post. (You beat me to it by 10 minutes Lol!!!)
    But here they are now
As most of you know Ive been trying to work on my focusing, and bird eyes.
These where taken over a few days, and a few different types of light and weather, sunny and bright, and dark and raining.

The only shot I really messed around with was the second to last, and I over did the highlights in his eye. I also cloned out the noisy background.
    All suggestions and critiques welcome.

Cool set! I like the second one as it is from such an unusual angle but the eye is nailed.

Lookin' good Jude! nice set! ... Looks like you've got your focus figured out .
My favorite one is #6 .
Good for you ... getting out there , to shoot in different types of light and weather , because you will find that some birds photograph better when it's overcast and some need a bit of sunlight to look their best .
