    Wonderful composition and colour. I can never get our Butterflies here to stay still for long enough to even get close to a shot like this.

    Very nice Bambi, and yours also Iggy.
    Did not see many Monarchs this year, but an amazing amount of Swallowtails.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    It's amazing how similar your two shots are. I like the sharpness of the butterfly in both of yours.

    so Iggy- you've been stalking in my garden but never came to visit??? What's up with that??

    the butterflies and bees love the echinacea flowers. This one stayed around for a long time. I couldn't get a good one with the wings outspread though.
