    Default A whole lotta bull

Did another long drive today, and came across this bull. At the time I saw him first, he was just laying in the field munching on some grass. He was about 10 feet from the fence....those little wood posts with the barb wire in them. Would that be enough to hold him back? Well, after I backed up and stopped, he got up and looked at me ... not very friendly at all .. so I decided to keep my distance and use my 300mm instead .. just was not very comfortable with this fellow.

The I had a closer look ... something with his eye and horn did not make sense ... maybe that was why he was a bit ticked??

and he sure had balls ... much bigger ones than me ...

Very nice sharp detailed shots Matt, of what looks like a Charolais Bull. He is a nice one, and don't worry about the horns, just a little genetics miss-step with the polled genes in his lineage is all.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Thanks all, and yes HBG it is a Charolais, for sure. I saw the herd in another quarter of land ... and I felt truly sorry for the cows .... they were sooooo small, and they were not Heifers, either.
