    Default Belted Kingfisher

    Took my D5100 to an area I didn't want too high ISO. It does fine at Iso of 640 and under but the conditions today called for Iso of 1000 heres the result still alot of noise

    Hypnosis? Some kind of dart with paralyzing venom? Maybe it's stuffed! I have always wanted to capture on of these birds but they always blast off just as I push the shutter release. This is a fine capture

    Nothing wrong with that at all RB. As Michael said, anyone who has tried too shoot one of these without a blind set-up would be extremely happy to get anything remotely as good as this.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    I kinda have a natural blind trees taller than me behind me and shorter ones in front they spook when i first get there then after about an hour they return to this perch or one on the other side of the pond
