New member trial post

This is a discussion on New member trial post within the Animals (mammals, birds, insects etc.) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; Just thought I'd run it up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes. House Wren....

    Welcome!

    Nice one John! - good sharpness here and I dig the blurred bkgd.

    Just as an FYI, images show up best on this forum at 325 k or less and 1024 pixels wide or less. (or else compression occurs)

    (I usually post my own shots at around 300k and 1000 pixels wide... some other members like to pull from flickr)

    I was wondering about that. The very same file in Photoshop has much more fine detail and DR. Will see how it does with your suggestion.
    Most of my posted jpgs are around 800k or so at a minimum as they stand now.
