    Ummm, yeah... about that... funny thing. This guy hangs out in the tree just outside my office. I know exactly how close I can get to him before he gets annoyed and flocks off. Once I got all the 'Bird on a branch' shots I wanted I just started walking toward him and tracked him with the camera 'til he took wing.

    Lucky you! Nice flight shot. How often does this guy come by? Are there lots of Goldens around the area?

    He's a solo operation; there aren't many goldens (That I've seen) on the south end of the Island, but this fellow stops by 3-4 times a week to make sure that things are okay.
