Default Need For Speed.... and Grace

Still hard to beat the magic warmth and grace of a wooden boat. Especially when she was the first in the world to break the 200mph mark back in the 1950's. What a sound too when she fires up. 3000 hp Griffon Spitfire MkXII aircraft engine.

Thanks Aub, and Matt. Yes, there is just something that can't be replicated with the fiberglass boats of today isn't there.

Fortunately Matt there are several wooden boat-builders in this area that have, and will, pass on the craft for generations yet. Couple to look at here.
