    Default National Airport

I was in D.C. on a recent early morning and managed to put down my luggage and snap this one. Nothing fancy, but I quite like the light.

That is nice. I think I would have walked forward or backward a bit so the flag didn't dominate, but the light filtering is there is quite nice..

Thanks, Kurt. Here's the original composition--do you prefer?

Doesn't the flag still dominate it? That is a nice floor. I can't tell which I prefer.

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.

Thanks, Michael. Anyone else have an opinion on the crops?

    I like crop 2 better.
It's a huge American flag, so it has to play a key role imo. So for me the shot is about an American airport. I like that the flag reflects better in the floor in shot 2. Plus the reflection in crop one cuts the heads off. Light rocks in both. Hope that helps - Marko
