Took these yesterday at Montreal Botanical gardens.
I have no real title for the second shot but the first shot is Kissing Koi :D
Ok - Nevermind - shot 2 is Hungry Koi as per OWLP's suggestion (Thx! OWLP!)
Feel free to comment or critique. Thx - Marko
The title in the first one could be hungry Koi too. :)
Both shots are excellent.

I agree-both are excellent. It's funny but I took some pictures of Koi yesterday!

That first one could also be called "French Kissing Koi"...
very nice captures Marko....love the unusual colours of the fish in the second shot. :)

Nice fish! Now, did you employ a polarizing filter here? I've tried getting shots of koi in a pond before and ended up with too many reflections. The other problem I had was the pond was indoors and I ended up with a very slow shutter and those darn things don't stand still! :)
Can you share your settings?

I'am liking #2. I don't seem to have much luck with fish when dealing with water shots like this even if I use a polorizer

Thanks for the comments everyone - I'm REALLY happy about the way shot 2 came out actually.
Settings - but of course - F7.1 - 1/200 - ISO 200 shot with a 70-200mm VR zoom at 200mm. I did indeed use a (warming) circular polarizing filter.
I also did a bit of PP, mostly levels and some dodging and burning.
Hope that helps - thx again - Marko
