Ok I'm posting this little older shot of a place I'm gonna shoot again today :-)

This is a beautiful piece of landscape near the place where I'm now, Heidelberg. I last shot it nearly two months ago. And I know whats growing there :-) It's a barley field which should be pretty golden now. This evening I'm heading there again and will hopefully bring back a shot I'll call "Summer" .

Wish me luck, currently the weather looks nice, hope it stays that way and I'll come back with the shot I want. If all goes right I will post it during the next week, when I have the time to process it.

But first of all, off I go :-)

cheers

You have GOT to be kidding. I was born and raised in Heidelberg, then emigrated to Canada.

Wonderful image, and Heidelberg will give you ample opportunity to send us more images. Hint: when walking down the "Hauptstraße" in Heidelberg, look up. Though I have lived there for 23 years, I only started to notice the fantastic architecture over top of the shops. Here is a challenge: can you find this on the "Hauptstraße"?

Now that is an amazing shot Mibreit. Love everything about it. Foreground, background, every part is balanced so well.
Please do post a more recent one to compare seasons.

@all: thanks a lot!!

@Matt K.: I will take a closer look on my next stroll through the streets of Heidelberg :-)

PS: the shoot on Sunday went very well, had the same clear sky and beautiful light. I will soon process one or two shots and post em here.

As promised here's a shot I took that evening

It's not the same tree but a little way to the right, the sun was positioned better for that shot. If I find the time I will also show you the barley field in golden light in front of the other tree.

cheers
