The Boise fire department's rescue and dive team. They were practicing holding against the current (still pretty strong) and playing out and reeling in the large raft.

Wellll, they do seem to have a good time. They were out with the Zodiac today (didn't get shots worth keeping. I was on a stretch with too many trees and no access to the bank). Their excuse was looking for snags to be cleared out before the weekend. Parks and Recreation hopes to have the opening of the float season. Since we're having near daily thunderstorms, brief though they are, I think they're dreaming.
