I like the shot.... got a kind of reflective feel to it...

OK, why aren't the ducks facing in our direction?

Well..... I think ol Joe would be off the cliff and in the water...lol...

That's kinda what I like about this image.... it's like he's caught a private moment of reflection between mother and her family..

i like how mama is standing on one foot - like shes going to step off the edge into the water...
and its a good title, since the main object in focus is her tail feathers - which have great texture & color btw.
nice shot - thanks for posting it!

I like it; normally I'm not a fan of people or animals moving away from the camera, but in this case, it works.

Yup I like this one too - images like this begin to blur the line between photography and painting.

The detail on the plumage is fantastic! I like the capture, it has a lot of character!

Ohhhh man... I waited and waited and waited for hours to get a shot with them facing me. After a long while they decided to leave and jump into the water... I took the shot a second before they jumped in. The light was great but they wouldn't look at me !!!! :-)

Thanks - everyone for the great comments

Couldn't say it better myself so I'm cheating and using Travis as my spokesperson ;)

A big http://www.mtbdirt.com.au/home/smf/Smileys/classic/1st.gif from me.

I will add that I reckon ducks are done to death in photography ... and then Joe pulls this one out and makes me eat my words. :o
