Bloody hell the camera batteries die quick in this cold. We are in Tasmania for the week and it's been about 1 c and less on the mountain and in the valleys. Brrr! No snow though :(

Typing on the iPhone sucks.

Yep 34 c is hot! That's a big temp differential from your minus c winters!

27 c aaah that's our daily high in winter back home.

Yesterday it was aussies oldest bridge and church and then the hartz mt range was great, no snow but beautiful regardless. Today it's mt field where waterfalls are the target.

Tassie certainly does waterfalls nicely! Today we found 4 very nice falls in moss filled mountain locations. A long day, but a great one. That's the mountains done this trip... Next two days will be near or on the coastline. Then it's home to start wasn't through about 2000+ photos I'd say.

It's going to take you 3 months to process all of those ;)

Ma is way good - unlike me. He'll have them up within a week of his return:D

I'm having a hard time keeping up with mine and I've only shot about 500 this month.

A lot of my shots are HDR sets and many of those will never be processed. I'll keep the best compositions and toss the rest away. It will take me awhile to go through them though :)

Another great day today ... saw the what was probably the most awesome sunrise I've ever shot ... awesome coastline ... and visited a famous penal colony with a wild history. <snicker snicker ... I said 'penal' :) >

1 full day left ... and rain forecast so not sure what we'll do yet.

Heh, I actually did chuckle when I read penal.. then more so when you commented on it. :)

Glad I could amuse you :)

It just ended ... will in about 4 hours when climb on the plane bound for home again.

It's a been a short holiday ... 4 full days and two half days (arrived and departing midday) so we really had to stay in high gear to get around see stuff. We had to play the cards we were dealt weather wise as well, no time to wait for better weather or a better time of day to get the good shot.

Still, it's been a cool time in and around a city steeped in Australian colonial and convict history. Now to go hoime and start looking through the shots ... all 2600 of them.
