Nice example of how a slight angle change can improve a photo. In this case i prefer shot 2.

Thanks, Marko! I preferred the second actually but posted both on flickr. The first got all the comments and views and none on the second which is why I ended up posting the first one here at all. Anyway, I did not have my polarizer with me as I just tossed my camera in a canvas bag and threw it in my little shopping cart- was going to try and get some sunset reflections on the highrises downtown and buy a couple of groceries at the same time. Ended up walking down to the river instead. I think I will give this a redo and see how it works out. :)

I like both. Nice exposure and the water flow looks just right to me. Soft enough without being too much.

It's interesting how different photos appeal differently on various sites.

very nice. I too prefer the second one. I can totally see you wondering the river and forgetting about groceries! :laughing:

Number 2 for me, please! I agree with the rest. I like seeing the top of the bridge. :thumbup:
