Hi everyone I'm a amateur photographer from B.C Canada. Ive been getting into photography for the last year. My favorite things to photograph are bugs, and i cant wait to explore more macro when i can get a better camera
I'm excited to read through this forum and learn!
I ended up entering a photo contest, and I'm now in the semi- finals!
School Yard by Jude01 | YOBIPics Photography Contest at YOBI.tv (http://yobi.tv/contestant/7740/Jude01/school-yard)

don't know if any of you have heard of yobi. tv but they have a few different competitions going for, comedy, singing, film, and pics

if anyone wants to give me some constructive criticism, id welcome it as I'm always looking to improve

Welcome to the forum. If you are really interested in macro photography go searching through the forum for OWLP's work. Phenomenal stuff.

If you are looking for some critiques feel free to pick a photo and stick it in the critique forum (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f2/) and I'm sure you'll get some great feedback.

Hey Jude (could not help it, I am an old Beatles fan); welcome to the forum, and best of luck with your entries. Hope to see some postings on here soon.

Hey I had one question, is it better to upload directly to this forum, or to a sight like photobucket then copy the link?

Better insert image/copy link.

In most cases we prefer you upload to the forum that way the images stay with the discussion. If your image is hosted elsewhere and is moved or deleted for any reason then the discussion thread here is ruined. Note that when uploading you should ensure your image is under 250KB or it will get compressed by the board's software and may not look as nice as you would like.
