A spot where the sun shines into the river, a rock with a bit of color just under the surface, and letting the eddies and current and a slowish shutter speed do the work.

the first photo looks like a close up of a greying and thinning hair and the scalp starts to show. :)

I can certainly see what attracted you to this subject. It looks like a cool spot to get some wonderful images.

I would have liked to have seen something grounding the image. What I mean by this is something that was sticking out of the water or a portion of the shore that remained in perfect focus. That's just a matter of personal taste however.

That's what it looked like to me, too. These kind of shots are partly luck. I can hear the changes in the eddies, but the water's flow is not entirely predictable. I think that's part of the fun of something like this.

Well, my hair isn't bushy because the length pulls it straight, but there is a lot of it. Not too much grey, but give it time.
