Mt Tamborine Waterfalls

These are on Tamborine Mountain, Qld ... a couple of hours south of where I live ... where Bambi's Aunt and Uncle live.

Curtis Falls
As teenagers we used to walk down to this and swim across the pool (when there's more water) and sit behind the falls themselves. Very refreshing after a hard bike ride from Brisbane.

Cedar Creek Falls
There are about 5 falls one after the other that make up Cedar Creek falls. We used to swim here also (when there was more water) as teenagers.

Hmm, I like all 3, each for a different reason. The first for the greens, the second for the mix of greens, blues and browns in the water, and the third for the rocks and the angle of the falling water. Looks like it was a great place to hang out back in your misspent youth.

yes ... we were right rebels ... not. While other mates were out drinking we were out training on our bikes ... and riding up Mt Tamborine with camping gear ;)
