Newbie - Vancouverite in NYC

Hi Marko and Photo Group!:

I am a newbie / hobbiest to the site and photography. I used to have an SLR in the film days. That went missing on a trip to Paris 10 yrs ago (on the steps of the national library) and have now made the digital SLR (T2i) plunge.

I am from Vancouver and now live in NYC. It is great to hear your blog. I have listened to all the podcasts that I could find. I would like to make the plunge from lurker to participator!

If I have photos that I would like feedback on, that aren't part of this month's landscape theme, where should I post them? (also optimum size, format etc.?)

Welcome to the site! If you wish a critique on something post it in the Critiques (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f2/) forum. If you just want to share a photo then file it under the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f11/) or one of the appropriate sub-forums.
