Hello to all.

My name is Jonathan

I have only recently discovered this wonderful site. I have been listening to Marko's magical podcasts for a few days now, but haven't had the available time to browse the site. I have alot of reading to do.

I like to invite everyone to check out my photography at www.disruptstudios.com. Certainly let me know what you think! constructive criticism is always a helper.

Good day fine Sirs and Madams.

Welcome to the site...

1. You have too many keywords... spiders will not index all of them. Focus on having less than 60 characters and it will be optimized to be much more efficient to spiders. Imagine search engine spiders that love to read but have an attention deficiency disorder. Too much and they will not index properly.

2. You need to use title tags correctly for search engines. Title tags are more important than keywords.

3. Optimize images for web viewing for quicker loading.

It is surprising that most websites on the internet are actually developed poorly. If they were all done well I would make less doing freelance web design.

Try this for your keywords... do a local search for the area near you and focus on that and the largest city close to you -- if you want to get work as a photographer. If you design the website on geotags and focusing locally you will get work... the way it is now...

Oh yeah, work text into your site somehow. Search engines love to read. If you are just using the site to share image... cool. If you want to start a business with it... you will have to redesign it with a website in mind... not a portfolio. If you want an online portfolio.. using the photoshop web gallery tool is good.

Thank you for the compliments they are much appreciated. Its very rare that I get any feedback on my work. Photography and website included. I am certainly not a wed designer but I do build my own site. So your suggestions are extremely helpful! I will be making the suggested changes this weekend. obviously any other suggestions anyone has would be great I've only been doing photography for about 3 months so anything would be helpful!!
