Hi all,
My name is Sara, and I just recently decided to start my own business as a wallpaper mural photographer. Turns out a lot of my friends are doing this now and making a mint, so I thought I would give it a try.

Found an article all about it on ezine (http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Make-$1000s-From-Your-Professional-Photographs&id=4848789)

Anyway, I hope to get some tips and tricks and perhaps some advice on what type of equipment to buy to make my photos higher resolution. I've seen some photos at 30Mpx plus, wow. How is that done? Most cameras i've encountered are at most 20mpx.

Lots to learn, thanks for welcoming me.
Sara

Welcome to the forum. That's an interesting path you've chosen. There are many ways to get larger size images but I would suspect the most common is through use of photo stitching where you take two or more 20MP shots and combine them to make a 30MP, 40MP or more. None of that will matter much if you don't get the image right in the first place and this is a great place to learn how to do that.

Just read that article. The "high end" mega pixel camera's that they are talking about are the top of the line camera's. But you can do the same with less. A thousand dollar fishing rod dosn't guarantee you to catch more fish if you don't know how to use it.
