I don't know whether to cry, toss out the camera, or just keep plugging away, the images in this book are that good.

You guys should not be so hard on yourselves. Both you and JAS have posted incredible images on this board; don't forget, this compilation is the result of how many images in total???

One thing, though, it does make one think, and it does inspire one to go out there and shoot 10,000 images and hope that at least one is exceptional, 100 are great, and the rest are nice.

What a cool set of images. I bet if you put together all the best shots from this board we could make a similar book.

That's amazing photography on that web site. However, I agree with Matt and Iggy that you could come up with an exceptional book from the best of this forum. I just hope I can be half that good after 10,000 images.

Thanks for the comments! :) But I think you have to aspire to achieve greatness in order to grow as well. When we become complacent we stagnate and there is always someone better, sharper, faster waiting to blow us out of the water.

......When we become complacent we stagnate and there is always someone better, sharper, faster waiting to blow us out of the water.

That is so true, and it's best to have those better people eliminated, quickly. :evil2:

The photos in that book are fantastic. Professionals that took those photos will have their images saved forever.
