Quince

so I can't always get on the site these days, not just because I'm tired a lot, but because I keep getting an error that my request string is too long for the server. weird.

Anyway, I went into the yard the other day after the rain to get a few more shots in my lily of the valley project. While I was out there I saw the quince bush had fruited again. I thought the raindrops bookended nicely with some of the rainy blossom shots I got in the spring -

Both shot with the E-30 and the legacy OM 90mm f2 macro lens, but the flower shot had a ring flash used and the fruit no flash.

Anyway, if I don't respond to any comments it probably means I'm getting that weird error again. :wall-an:

Oooh, that second one is all drippy and cool. Love it. The colour is very nice and the detail is great!

sorry for the double post. All I get in Firefox is an error. in Explorer I can see the forum fine. Weird.

Thanks for the comments on the shots. I'm pretty happy with both, although the artificiality of the flower shot always jars me.
