Hey all,
This is one ancient decorated tomb which dates back several hundereds of years.

Very neat. Is it a multiple burial do you know, or just multiple markers? any close ups of the carvings?

Tiya (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiya) is a UNESCO world heritage site. In these particular tomb more than 7 people are buried in a seated position behind these stelae. There are around 40 such stelae in one area.

I will process some more images and upload. The guide, I met there told me the symbols are not decrypted in detail yet. So, I took my pick to figure out one of the symbols as "Space shuttle". :laughing::wall-an:


He took my joke very seriously and explained to me that it is only a sword.

either way, it's a beautiful picture of an interesting subject.
