Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park is quite a sight here in Alberta. The Red Deer river flows through it and if you want to, you can canoe through this valley for miles and miles, going from one provincial park into another. This particular park got its name from the fact that the natives used to herd the Buffalo toward the cliffs here, and then they all fell over the edge and down the ravine. This would help the natives of this part of Canada gather enough food for the winter.

Here are three images of a tree, different vantage points, but that tree just made my day with it's golden leaves .... of course the rest of the landscape is not shabby, either.

nice set, good composition Matt - love the sky in #1, the tree acting as an anchor and then the leading line effect of the river in #2 and the colours of #3

Like them all but that 3rd shot is the standout for me Matt. Excellent exposure and composition in that one.
