Wondering if there is any quantitative value in this image? not sure myself...
ps- on a side note I tried really hard to get a big sunburst out of my new 24-70... it has a new nano coated element that supposedly reduce glare and I'm wondering if it's the culprit of preventing a big juicy sunburst...

I like this shot Travis and think it's well done. I love the soft tones here.
If I have to choose 1 thing... maybe it would be even stronger if the sky had a bit more meat or tone especially that part of the sky nearest the left tree...but aside from that I dig this image and the mood it evokes.

I really like the central elements here, but for me it's a bit dark overall - is this a morning or evening shot?
I guess for me, if I was an evening shot, I'd probably have tried to go for a warmer, more golden feel in the foreground. The haze though I guess would suggest a morning shot where this probably wasn't possible.
I also really like the multi-level depth here - the left tree/foreground, then the tree on the right in a near-mid-ground, then further still to the tree line on the left for the mid-ground, then the tree line behind that, and finally tree/horizon lines - it almost takes your eye on an inward journey.
Very nice!

I really like this image. I think the foreground elements could do with a little dodging or a levels/curves tweak to brighten them just a bit, but overall I like the quiet serenity this image captures. Nicely done!

Travis -I like it too and agree that the sky could use a bit of a boost.

Actually it needs a centre of interest.
