A Poppy for Remembrance ....

It's weathered many storms ... and is getting a little worn and tattered , but it's hanging in there .... So it just felt more fitting to me , than the fresher blooms ...

A very nice image for the remembrance. Here, aside from the usual parades and newspaper columns, the local airport cafe remembered with free pancakes to veterans, and the Warhawk did free cookies and coffee. How about other places?
