I was in the local camera store today and was talking to the sales guy about the possibility of a replacement coming out for the D90. Has anyone herd about a D100?

The D100 was the first in line of the prosumer cropped sensor Nikons, followed by the D200 and the D300 and now the D300s.
There is a D7000 out that is touted to replace and improve upon the D90.

Yeah, the last of the double digit series is the D90. They moved to the X000 series for the non pro bodies. I would say the D90 has less than a 6 months life left on the shelves.
Sounds like the next body to come out will be the "D400" which will replace the D300s.

I believe the D90 replacement is the D7000. Similar body size and style. 1090p video, improved ISO performance...great camera from what I've heard (via other people posting on the web). It is better than the D300 and D300s in many respects but doesn't get into the 'pro' body stuff like lens calibration and extra switches on the body instead of settings in menus.
