Bittersweet is a horribly invasive species here in North America, but it's damn photogenic. I swiped a branch from a bush down the road and played with the legacy OM 35mm f2 lens and the 25mm extension tube.

I like how the berry covers make them look like tiny lemons before they're shed.

Cool shot. Really like how you caught the different stages here with the lemon like berry itself in perfect focus. job well done.

Thanks guys. It's an Asian plant, off the top of my head so if you don't have it where you are, consider yourselves lucky. the berries are less than 1cm across. The stuff grows everywhere, but is most noticeable in the fall.

Very colorful. The contrasting colours are nice. You wouldn't think of it as an invader would you.

Hey thanks guys.

Nice as it looks, it chokes the life out of a lot of native plants that didn't evolve with it and have no defenses. It was brought in as an ornamental and is now everywhere. Check out this old mill with a swath of it -
