No need to keep that large post up. If you want to submit a portfolio to participate in the 2011 Scaotiabank Photography festival email me. 10 photos, long side 800 px. Should be work you want to show, I am also seeking out established photographers so I may be able to squeeze one or two from here into the gallery show. I cannot promise you will be accepted but I think some here may have a shot. Contact me at concertphoto66 [at] gmail [dot] com. Those who are serious only please. The larger the photos the better and not 8x10's period. You must mount, frame your own work if your chosen. Give it a shot doesn't hurt.

Umm.. what exactly are you looking for in shots? Kind of confused, should grab a coffee and reread this again.

I am looking for work that you believe in very strongly, photos strong powerful that you think are gallery quality work. Photos that tell stories, photos that capture the viewers imagination, can be abstract, etc. Why when you send a portfolio it will give me a range of your best work. Just if you think it is an image and you like it send it as part of your portfolio. You might hang one or two prints more than likely and your other photos from your portfolio shows us your work has some depth and you did not pop off a lucky shot or two. Send your best and strongest work and your final print also has to be on the right paper, mounted/framed so that it highlights the image and not over whelm it. So in parting your most powerful work in your opinion and they represent you so I think go with your instincts.I cannot tell you what to send just trust your judgement and even because I said not to send specific themes you can ignore that if you think it will blow me over and showing me just I may just be wrong. Nothing to lose.
