Hi all,

I posted an intro, but figured the best introduction is a few shots. As stated, we live on the east coast so we have lots to shoot. We usually plan our photo outings a few weeks ahead of time - as we discover new ones alot of the time while on an outing - so we have to always adjust lol.

I do this for money as well. We still work, but one of us could probably not work if we weren't so greedy lol. We do a few weddings, but we do a lot of couples / family shoots all year. Personally, not the venture I would like to take as I'd rather just stay focused on the landscape / wildlife stuff. Even though we're in the process of building a studio lol...

Anyway, the shots... just a mixed bag really. I do appreciate any and all C&C. I've been well known to go out and re-take shots just because one or two people mentioned a negative or a 'this could be better' item... so feel free to fire away. Thanks in advance for looking :)

Beautiful images...I would like them even better if they were a bit larger!

Lovely collection opener! I think my fave here is shot 3 based on the comp and awesome sky.

It's a wonderful set to be sure. My fav is #4. Just love the alignment of the rocks and the silky smooth water.

Hi Casil, I wasn't sure on what the size limit was so I just uploaded the 500 pixels. Next time I'll put them @ Flickr resolution ( 701 pixels high or something like that ) And, I saw from your other post you too were a Pentaxian :) Great to meet you

Marko, thank you very much. The night of that sky, for some reason the sunset took forever and I was able to take over 40 shots. The wind was moving a bit too, which made for a different sky every couple of minutes. I was truly lucky I think ;)

Thank you for such kind words Iguanasan. I have to say I just love doing the water thing, so I take forever getting them most of the time LOL. It's just so peaceful being out in the woods and you stumble upon a spot like this one. Again, I owe it to luck for going the day I did = cloudy and really dark. Thank you :)

I say this luck thing all the time myself so please don't feel singled out here. I am just jumping on it because it struck a chord with me and my mood today.

I want all of us to stop saying we're lucky. It's not luck. You spent time learning how to use your camera. You put it and got your *ss out to shoot. Through walking, crawling, looking, seeing and practice you created a wonderful image. Don't play it down by saying you were lucky. Luck had absolutely nothing to do with it. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done.:clap:

This message is directed to all my photography friends.

Uh-oh. That's what I say to my wife when I'm humouring her. She normally doesn't appreciate that comment ;)

I can only imagine how great these pictures would look in bigger size - but they are all worth to hang on a wall.
