Mid summer my Duracell batteries leaked in my flash. I sent it off to Duracall and finally I got a response back today. They are writing me a check.

I was also told that everything I sent made it easy to say yes. So I thought I'd inform people as they may not realized they should save this or that.

I sent the flash in original box, with everything it came with. Photocopied original receipt. The batteries that leaked, the rest of the batteries left not used, and it's original package. The receipt for the batteries. And finally, I also sent photos including the flash/batteries with paper including my account number to be seen. Just so Duracell knew I had it, that it was documented and I will fight to the end..lol

Hopefully this doesn't happen to you but if it does..great to have all this stuff!

Congratulations to you but there's no freakin' way I would still have the original packing to anything after about 2 hours ;)

Normally I wouldn't either but it still had batteries in it and the batteries were only purchased two weeks before. That is why I wrote that down, for the sake of filing it or putting it with other boxes, etc, you keep it would help things along quicker!
