There may be some photographic opportunities if you are in to this.

The Earth’s shadow will begin to blot out the moon at 1:32 a.m. EST (10:32 p.m. PST). During totality, when the Earth is directly between the moon and the sun, the moon will turn a rusty orange-red for 72 minutes from 2:41 a.m. to 3:53 a.m. EST (11:41 p.m. to 12:53 a.m. PST).

If I wake up, I'll look, but I expect I'll only see clouds. Bummer.

With 2-4cm of snow and 15-25mm of rain expected during the next 12 to 18 hours I'm not hopeful to actually notice

Quite the eerie looker of a moon tonight in Calgary. I don't think I can stay up that late. But thanks anyhow! :thankyou:
