We had our family Christmas lunch where most of my immediate family live ... on the Sunshine Coast. That morning we headed up early in the rain (remains of a cyclone/hurricane) to the Serenity Falls for a few shots. It's a nice area with several small waterfalls as well as the main falls themselves.
I'll keep adding shots to this thread as I work through the photos I took :)
My daughter Chantelle composing her shot while boyfriend Richy and my wife Leanne look on.

Both are beautiful shots MA. I really like that first shot with the human interaction in it.

what an unbelievably beautiful place.
It is nice. Not as spectacular as some of the waterfalls I've shown you lately but a pretty little spot.
More shots to come from here :)

Here's another featuring Chantelle on the bridge. She's holding my floppy hat over her lens to keep the rain off the front element

Although this is my shot ... this is more or less the view she had from there

You can see the bridge and where Chantelle was standing in this one ... HDR

Still a couple more of these falls to come ... then we moved about 50m downstream to some small but pretty cascades.

very nice. The first with the bridge- it adds the perfect element to the shot. For the second I love the details of the rocks with the soft water and the colours. I can [racticaly hear the water. I like how the last two show how the water is collecting from different streams.
thanks for taking us on this hike.

These are fabulous. My favorite is the last shot, because of the foreground rock and the point of view so close to the water. Also I noticed the red colored leaves on one of the bridge shots, but there are a few leaves in the last shot that add a tiny bit of unusual color. All these are very nicely done. Would you mind commenting on lens(es) and filters you used? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much mbrager and WD.
I used my 10-22mm lens for these. No filters. It was a fairly dark day so filters like ND's weren't needed.

These are absolutely stunning, MA. I was looking for a favourite until I realized that I couldn't pick just one. Even with the rain the light is awesome. Excellent work, my good man!
