I'm sort of into insect nudes, and I hope others are too (uhm...in a photography-oriented way of course). Here's my bee of the day and also my own analysis of the picture. What do you think?

My own photo analysis of the bee. (http://www.photorookie.com/photo-analysis/76-photo-analysis-)

Welcome to the forum. This shot is a heck of a start here. Love the wonderful detail in Mr. Bee here.

yes it's a beautiful shot. I love the colours. the white and yellow flower make the perfect backdrop. it's too bad that the right wing was clipped a bit but that's a minor nit. :)

Lovely shot here!
I'm not much into macro/proxi photography but I sure enjoy this one!

Job well done!

Great clarity and the DOF helps to give a sense of height for the bee above the flower.

a terrific shot, crisp with good lighting, but it's not a bee. It's a hover fly. :)

Thanks for the feedback. But hear this, it's not actually a bee, it's a fly, specifically a Syrphidae Syrphus Ribesii. What a man can learn on a saturday evening, hehe. I'm just glad I'm not a biologist at this point.

Bambi; Agree that the clipped wing could/should have ben avoided.
