Hey,
I have been trying to master my panning shot for quite some time now. And I take the opportunity of our small ciruit race for that. Here are some from last Sunday but not from the actual race.
What do you all think?

I like these, especially the first one, it's colours and contrast really make it stand out. Very nice all.

Very nicely done, Yisehaq. My favourite is number 2 though. I really like that you can clearly see the driver and how he's all hunched over. The background also includes a barely readable "Go The Distance" which adds to the image.

Thanks so much, Iggy. You noticed the "Go the Distance" very well. I thought it was not legible.

If you planned that one, add an extra cherry to your sundae! :) Including that sign adds to the image and it's not so blurry that you can't read it. Nice!

Nice set Yisehaq. Looks to me like the practice is starting to pay off very well indeed!

Very nice panning job. I remember a podcast from a photographer (Scott Bourne), who used to be a photographer in his earlier days at Indianapolis Speedway. His suggestion was that you need to have a shutter speed fast enough to freeze the car and get it sharp, but slow enough to have a blur in the tires. You have done that very well.

Thank you Iggy, Marko, aubintbay and asnow.
Indeed practice has paid off in this case.

Definitely #1 for me also Yisehaq. You definitely nailed it on this one especially, but all are good.
