My Photo Club went to Ross Farm today. It's a historic farm in New Ross Nova Scotia. One of the things they pride themselves on is breeding older species of farm animals. This rooster was particularly striking. I forget what he's called but I want to say Speckled Sussex.
Anyway, he was as curious about me as I was about him!

He was wondering how many eggs you would produce if he could figure out how to get you into his hen house ;)

 not so much these days. Who has time to sit on eggs?

thanks HBG. I was quite happy with it. I had to put the camera close to the chicken wire to try to get a half decent shot. Add in being inside with light coming from windows and it was a bit of a challenge. hence the wee blown bit on his back.

thanks I thought he was pretty cute.
