I not not completely up on dog breeds, but I thought it might be a Wolfhound. Thanks for confirming.

Sure got his attention, thats for sure, and as Bambi said, beautiful breed for sure.
(Friend of ours had two stolen from his property years ago.)

Thanks Bambi, Donna, HBG and JAS. I'm surprised I got this even close to in focus. After spotting the dog, I only had a few seconds to capture him in the opening between the trees.

oh that's awful! I can't imagine having your dog stolen. I would be devastated! I love this breed of dogs and would love to have one someday.

Nice shot! They are beautiful dogs..when I was in Banff over the holidays, there was a couple that had 2 of them..they were huuuuuuge!
