At about minus 20 with the windchill, the cold is a challenge for the Urban Trekker, seen here at Shaw Millenium Park and 8mm ;).

Thanks guys! Greg, it's the Rokinon 8mm. It is a Korean lens made by Samyang. They also make it under the Bower and Vivitar names. I got it from Cameta Camera for $260 plus shipping and customs charges. It is pretty cool and seems quite sharp to my eye. It works very well with the cropped sensor of the D300. I just wish it focused a bit closer, would be my only complaint. Minimum focusing distance is 12 inches. Here is what Ken Rockwell has to say about it.

8mm f/3.5 Fisheye Lens: Samyang, Pro-Optic, Bower (http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/8mm-f35.htm)
