Hi Taffy,
I like the crop and where you've positioned the vanishing point in the frame.
In this one I do see evidence of the multiple exposures in the foreground grasses. This is difficult to avoid in almost any kind of weather conditions as grass will move about in the smallest of breezes. You are at the mercy of the layer alignment algorithm in Photomatix, Photoshop or what ever HDR software you are using. And because this mis-alignment is in the foreground it takes away from the grandeur of this great vista.
Despite that, I really like the warm tones overall composition of the piece. You have a great eye for this.
Great job.
Regards,
MikeV
P.S. We are all at the mercy of software technology and once it catches up we will again be asking the software to do things it can't possibly achieve.:)

A Somerset sunrise taken over the summer.
Well, you could hardly take a Somerset sunrise in the winter now could you?
I think Mike has hit the key points on this on. Good job.

Great critique MVDT!
I agree, this shot is fabulous in colour, exposure and composition. The misalignment MVDT talks about though is unfortunately noticeable.

I re-worked the image through Photomatix and used the algorithm to look for moving objects and managed to get what I think is a better finished result in terms of alignment when I compare the prints side by side - see attached.

Hmmm... I actually prefer the original. This one, to me, is looking a little too much like an HDR.
