What caught my eye here was juxtaposition. Feel free to comment or critique any aspect. Thx! Marko

really neat juxtaposition. the machine has a vaguely threatening feel to it! my only nit is that the snow seems to have no texture

I don't really get the juxtaposition. Perhaps it's the serenity of the graveyard against the noise of machinery?

Without the machine I think this would be a very nice photo. Love the composition mostly. With it though, this doesn't appeal to me that much I'm sorry.

Sorry Marko, I think I'm in MA's camp. I don't get the juxtaposition either.

I do like the juxtaposition. I immediately thought of the stories of overcrowded cemeteries in older towns, and the fact that often there were multiple people buried in a particular spot - after enough time passes you took down one marker, put in another and put the latest "occupant" on top of the stack. There's sometimes talk of quietly removing the oldest to make room. Don't know if it's as common a problem as the stories make it out to be, but boy, would that be a fast way of rearranging things!
