One of the functions we had recently, had the living statues as a form of entertainment. They were also dancers who performed for the guests later on.
Considering the subject matter, I wanted a very stylized look.

Interesting and cool post processing not to mention some nice captures here. I really like that first one, though, having her eyes stare right at you is awesome.

Thanks, Iggy. Well, hope you can stand to look at a few more beautiful women in weird costumes ;).
This one has a texture added:

The art and lamps in the club were a bit of a distraction and fairly unavoidable, especially with the room full of people.

These are very interesting subjects. Nice pictures and I really like how well preserved the texture is in their clothing and hair. Could you comment on lighting you used, flash etc.?

Thanks, M.A.

Mike, I just used on camera flash, the SB900 in i-TTL mode, bounced off the ceiling with the white bounce card up. Other settings are f4 at 1/60 or 1/125 sec. As you can see from the photo below which has only basic editing done to it, they also have some coloured LED lights shining on them. Some of the girls were holding a LED flashlight to their their face as well.

Other than that, I tried to take the photos from a fairly low position - they were already standing on footstools- to try and get a viewing a "goddess" quality.
