My daughters daycare went to a raptor center and I was lucky enough to tag along. I checked the weather for a week in advance...clear Sky's where forecast...well not the case! blinding white overcast sky's so I really struggled with noise and blown highlights.

I don't remember what all the birds where, it was a little insane with 20 young kids!

Love these Jude. All tack sharp and beautiful detail. Looks like you handled the conditions quite well.

Raptor centres are awesome places to get shots up close and personal. We have one near us that you can rent for couple hours and they will present birds in natural settings and even get them to fly for you, whatever you wish. I have never been to it, but have seen many a pic. from there.

I really like that last one with the wing in the background and the head down. Give such a menacing feel to it.
