There was a girl who put up a video on march 9 claiming there was going to be a bad quake on the 11th...It happened! So naturally she gained some support from the global community, some even went as far as to say she predicted the quake that hit Japan. Her prediction method is based on an inbound comet and its alignment with the earth and various other celestial bodies. This same person went on to predict a major quake on the 31st of march and implied the coast of California was to be the victim. Allegedly she moved to the mountains to avoid the disaster. True she got lucky one time but I could never get my head around the comet bit. This British fellow spells it out quite well:laughing:

The frequency of (err.. misinformed individuals) that come to the site is steadily increasing as we get closer to 2012. So far, none have agreed to hand their money over to us on Dec. 20 2012.
