View Full Version : Possible help in a Photo Contest

Hi guys! It's been a while since I post. It's been pretty crazy for me but I just entered a photo contest. I hope this is not spammy....if you like my picture, please help me out! Sorry if this is wildly inappropriate. I attached the shot, if you like it, you just need to do a couple of things:

Just two quick steps:

1) Go to CEMEX | Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/cemex) and "like" it. ( I know... publicity for the company, annoying, but its part of the contest)

2) Go to my photo and "like" it

Yes, it's a bit spammy but that's cool as you wouldn't be the first to ask for help with a photo contest :)

I just wish you would come back and show us a few more photos. I remember this one and enjoyed it when I first saw it and I'd like to see more :)

Thanks Iguanasan. I will definitely come back soon with more pics. I have learned a lot from the critiques in this forum, in which I get so many more responses than for example Flickr. ( I guess the sites are for different purposes). Anyway, I'm sworn off these Facebook contests now! It just becomes a popularity contest. I got about 90 votes, which I thought was good. But then other photos (with sexy girls posing) got like 400 votes! Not a real "photography" contest. Thanks anyway!

If a newbie posted this, it would be deleted faster than you can say spammy Mcspammer.

mmmm, yes, I remember this image ... was in the "critique (http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f2/help-choosing-crop-9942.html)" section a while back ...
