This is really kind of freaky to me. I have no idea - yet - how he did it but it's really freakin' cool!

looks like a simple 'animated' GIF file to me.

What makes it so different and weird is that parts of the image move and not the whole image. Hair blows out of the way to show something behind it. Animated GIF it is, but it's the way the animation is done to only parts of the image -- very cool.

I'd love to know how they do that. it reminds me of photos from the Harry Potter series.

That's really unique and yes, somewhat freaky because only part/s of the images move. I have to concur with Bambi. These photos reminded me of the portraits in Harry Potter. But, weirdness aside, those images are actually great. Wonder how the photographer did that. :confused: Thanks for sharing, by the way.
