Australia - Set 1

I was going through some old pictures of a trip I did to Austrailia in 1980. These are not the best quality as they are scans from slides, but I thought that MA (and perhaps others) might find them interesting. There was two parts to the trip. Part 1 (2 weeks)- From Cairns to the nothern tip of Queensland in the red Landcruiser and Part 2 (4 weeks) - From Townsville across the top to Broome on the North/West coast and then diagonally in to the centre at Alice Springs in the Winabego looking vehicle which actually had a 10 ton army truck underneath.

There are a lot of pictures, so I hope they don't bore you.

Cool ... places I haven't been! I've been to Cairns but not much further up.
