Foggy Fun

Warm weather and cold water made for some neat fog. Really trying to push myself to get better!

They're both perhaps slightly dark, but nevertheless are very good. Great reflections in the first one, although I may have tried cropping a bit of the dark foreground off (just below the mast reflection). I love the layer of fog in the second one.

I really like both of these but the second is my favourite. I think the darkness sets the mood for me rather than feeling under-exposed it feels like that's what you intended. I do agree with Tim's cropping recommendation. All that said, these are both lovely shots! Well done. :thumbup:

Very nice scenes here. I, very much, like #1 just as it is, although loosing a little of the very bottom in the dark might help a little. You may be able to leave it as is and simply lighten it a tad too.

The 2nd one feels a little under-exposed to me, I'd use a levels tool and try to give it more punch. Still like it as is though.

Both are nice compositions but I would have had more sky (love the character in that sky) and less dark water.

Beautiful! Love them both, however I differ on the crop on the first one, for more drama I would crop the top sky off just a bit, personally I like the way the reflections just seem to dissapear, it keeps your mind going.
The second is great too! but it almost feels like 2 separate photo's the sky is a tad grainy with 2 black birds? and the lake is super clear, maybe just a tad sharpen and contrast on the sky and removal of the birds? but I love the mood in the photo, it evokes many thoughts.
