I was passing by this pond yesterday evening and the light caught my eye. I stopped to take a few shots. I liked this one because of how the branches direct the attention to dead tree in the back of the scene.

it looks like a beautiful spot. this shot is very peaceful but I might have cropped out the bottom bright bit.

Yes I agree the reflection is distracting, also maybe increase exposure slightly. Overall really great! I like it!

Here is a second shot I kept in which I zoomed in a bit more and used a 16:9 aspect ratio to get a better ballance in composition ... :fingerscr
I guess I chose the other one first to capture more of the scene. Often in a photo, you have the sense of losing the amplitude of a vast scene you end up cropping it into a single frame :)

I like the depth of colors. Did you post process and increase saturation, or were the colors naturally like that?
