Cool shot. Neat how we can see the lights on in the nose of the ferry.

Thanks MA and Ed. Those lights are actually on the inside of the ferry as you can see the nose is up for loading/unloading.

Love the calm water. Been a while since I ventured onto the Chi-Cheemaun. Nice shot!

Thanks vbarry. I didn't actually take the ferry. I just drove up to Bruce for a coupe of relaxing days taking pictures.

Such a lovely light on the side of the ferry. Wonderful capture, asnow.

Thanks Iggy. That's exactly the way it was. The only PP I did was bring up the shadows a bit to show a little definition in the nose.

this truly is a wonderful shot! I bet that the ferry company would buy it to put on their wall or promotional material

Have to agree with Bambi here Asnow. Very well captured. Maybe send them a sample with a big watermark through it to see if they are interested?
Also, what lens used here.

Thanks Aubintbay, Bambi and HBG. I really like this picture, in fact I think it may be the best picture I've done so far. I never thought about contacting the ferry company to see if they are interested, but I will definitely consider it now. HBG - it was the 18-55 kit lens. zoomed in at 55, f7.1, 1/500 sec and iso 400. Now that I look at this, seeing as I used a tripod, I probably didn't need iso 400.
